　　Chicony Power Technology Co., Ltd. (6412.TW) today announced its consolidated financial results for the second quarter of 2024. Consolidated revenues in 2Q24 was NT$8,898 million, down 4.0% YoY but up by 10.6% QoQ. Thanks to favorable product mix and foreign exchange rates, the company’s gross margin grew 0.2ppt YoY to 20.5%. With prudent expense control, its operating margin improved 0.7ppt from the year-ago quarter to 10.3%, while net margin improved 1.7ppt YoY to 10.2%. Despite of a decrease in sales, the company’s operating profit rose 2.3% YoY to NT$913 million. Meanwhile, net profits for the quarter reached NT$912 million, up 15.4% YoY, with basic EPS of NT$2.28, up 15.2% YoY. Net net, the company post a strong 2Q result and reported record-breaking operating profit, net profit, gross margin, operating margin, net margin, and EPS for the same period.

For the first half of 2024, the company’s accumulated consolidated revenues revenue was NT$16,944 million, down by 3.5% YoY. Gross margin reached 20.6%, up 1.1ppt. Operating margin improved to 10.0%, up 0.8ppt YoY, while net margin improved to 9.4%, up 1.6ppt YoY. Gross profit and operating profit were NT$3,495 million and NT$1,697 million, up by 1.9% and 4.8% YoY, respectively. Net profits was NT$1,593million, up by 16.2% YoY, with Basic EPS of NT$3.98, up 15.4% YoY. Overall, the company reported record-breaking gross profit, operating profit, net profit, gross margin, operating margin, net margin, and EPS for the same period.

　　Chicony Power also announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$3,210 million, up by 5.2% YoY, for July 2024. For the first seven months, accumulated revenues totaled NT$20,154 million, down by 2.2% YoY.
