In response to climate change, we submitted our science-based carbon reduction targets in 2022, which have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). In August 2023, together with our parent company Chicony Electronics and Senao Networks, we joined the global renewable energy initiative "RE100," committing to using 100% renewable energy at our Taiwan headquarters and global operations by 2030. Additionally, we have set a goal to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. These are highly challenging goals for the company, but without commitment, we would never reach them. We hope that through these ambitious carbon reduction commitments, we can encourage our employees to proactively launch various action plans.
At the same time, we hope to demonstrate our determination to our customers and suppliers. In the 2023 Supplier Conference, we not only presented the company's current ESG progress but also emphasized the future requirements for suppliers. The company will continue its unwavering efforts and hopes to collaborate with supply chain partners to enhance sustainability performance and jointly create a sustainable value chain.
