Chicony Power Reports December 2023 Consolidated Revenue

Chicony Power Technology Co., Ltd. (6412.TW) announced its unaudited consolidated revenue for December 2023 of NT$2,835 million, down 6.5% YoY. Revenues for the fourth quarter was NT$9,009 million, down 5.2% YoY. Full year 2023 revenue was NT$36,311 million, down by 11.6% from 2022.
Although the channel inventory levels have returned to normal, brand customers are being cautious in building up their inventories before the Chinese New Year holiday, likely due to the increased cost of capital impacted by high USD interest rates. However, thanks to better product mix, the company expects better-than-expected profitability on slightly softer-than-expected revenue for the fourth quarter of 2023. |
